Selected experience / Our founder & team

The complexity behind experiences people trust.

Our founder and team have built systems for real-time auctions, global video publishing, more informed healthcare and the complex operations behind them. Explore the experience they bring to TWIMCO.

Fine art / Auctions & logistics

One bid. A world of moving parts.

A fine-art auction brings together split-second decisions and objects that require extraordinary care.

Our work spanned the real-time auction bidding engine and the operation that followed a winning bid. Buyers needed an experience that could keep up with the auction. Behind the scenes, shipping depended on knowledge held in spreadsheets of routes.

We turned those spreadsheets into a shipping API, bringing that operational knowledge into software the platform could use. The work connected the excitement of bidding with the practical challenge of moving an artwork.

  1. 01A bid, in real time
  2. 02A winning buyer
  3. 03Routes become a shipping API
  4. 04The journey beyond the auction
Two connected challenges: live bidding and the logistics after the sale.

A digital auction house has to earn confidence at every step, from placing the bid to planning what happens after the sale.

Global media / Machine learning

The right story. The moment someone is ready for it.

Delivering video globally was one challenge. Knowing when to publish it was another.

Across eleven channels, viewers had different habits. Alongside the systems that processed and delivered video around the world, we built machine-learning tools to schedule publishing around when each channel’s audience was most likely to watch.

Infrastructure, audience behavior and editorial decisions became parts of the same problem. The publishing operation could make more informed decisions about when its content should meet the world.

  1. 0111 channels
  2. 02Audience viewing patterns
  3. 03Machine-learning scheduling
  4. 04Global video delivery
Audience behavior informed publishing decisions across eleven channels.

Sophisticated engineering becomes useful when it changes an everyday decision. In this case: when to press publish.

Healthcare / Patient outcomes

The patient’s story belongs in the plan.

Hospital records tell part of the story. What a patient experiences after surgery adds another essential perspective.

We helped hospitals collect patient-reported outcomes and connect them with hospital data to support more informed postoperative care planning. Information that had lived apart could become useful context for the people responsible for care.

Our work also included reporting and compliance capabilities that supported hospitals’ CMS reimbursement requirements and helped them retain revenue. The details mattered to patients, clinical teams and the institutions supporting them.

  1. 01Patient-reported outcomes
  2. 02Hospital data
  3. 03Postoperative care context
  4. 04Reporting & CMS requirements
Connected information served care planning, reporting and compliance.

Connect the patient’s experience to the clinical picture—and make the resulting information usable across the hospital.

Healthcare / Decision support

A complicated choice. A clearer way forward.

Healthcare options carry more complexity than a comparison table can explain.

We helped process complex healthcare data and turn it into experiences that gave consumers and businesses the context to review their options and make decisions more quickly.

The engineering challenge was also a communication challenge: preserve the distinctions that matter, make the choices understandable, and help people see what the information means for them.

  1. 01Complex healthcare data
  2. 02Options with context
  3. 03Consumer & business comparison
  4. 04A more informed decision
The work translated data complexity into context people could use.

The value of complex data is the confidence it can give someone making a consequential decision.

WorkStep

WorkStep

Frontline work / Employee experience

Listen closer. Build a better working day.

The people closest to the operation often understand its problems first.

Our team helped build tools that enabled companies to understand frontline workers and recognize what was shaping their experience. That understanding gave employers a way to address the conditions affecting retention and make work more enjoyable.

The purpose went beyond collecting feedback. It was to help organizations respond to the people whose everyday work keeps the business running.

  1. 01Frontline experience
  2. 02A clearer understanding
  3. 03Better working environments
  4. 04Support for retention
Understanding the working day created a basis for meaningful improvement.

A stronger operation starts with understanding the people inside it.

Music & video / A creative marketplace

Give a place its own rhythm.

Music and video shape how a business feels—and how customers engage with it.

We helped reimagine how businesses create that environment and connect with consumers through music and video. The work also opened a marketplace where DJs could reach businesses looking for bespoke playlists.

Creative talent, business needs and the customer experience came together. A business could shape a more intentional atmosphere, while DJs gained a new way to put their work in front of the right audience.

  1. 01Business atmosphere
  2. 02Music & video
  3. 03DJs & bespoke playlists
  4. 04Customer engagement
A platform connecting business environments with creative talent.

Build the experience for the business, the creator and the person walking through the door.

Private markets / Connected dealmaking

Bring the whole deal into view.

Private-market transactions can leave participants working from different pieces of the same picture.

Our work helped broaden investor access to private-market opportunities and bring greater structure and visibility to participation. Banks gained a more complete view of their deals and clearer ways to interact with other banks and individual investors.

The challenge was to make coordination and closing easier while supporting more informed participation. The platform brought the relationships and information around a deal into a more coherent working environment.

  1. 01Private-market opportunities
  2. 02Banks & investors
  3. 03A shared deal picture
  4. 04Coordination through closing
Greater visibility connected the people and information around a deal.

When participants can see the context and coordinate more clearly, complex transactions become easier to navigate.
